Welcome Daniel Wolff, Interim Edible Hope Kitchen Program Director

posted in: Edible Hope Kitchen 0

Daniel will be serving as the Edible Hope Kitchen (EHK) Program Director while we are working to find a new location for our program when we move off property during construction in 2024-2025. We are hoping, planning, and praying for a new permanent location in Ballard with easy access for our guests and volunteers. We also hope to keep our current staff and to transition this position to a permanent one. The EHK Advisory Board with Canon Britt have been talking with local organizations about this possibility and we hope to have more information later in the year.

Please welcome Daniel to St. Luke’s and the Edible Hope Kitchen!

Daniel is originally from Chicago and has spent the last decade working in organic agriculture and digital communications. He moved to Seattle in March 2020 and started a small, organic produce company called Underground Produce, serving Seattle-area food banks. He holds a BA in Rhetoric from The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Nonprofit Management through the University of Washington. Daniel holds a passion for food justice and believes fresh, organic produce should be available to all. He is both excited and honored to serve Edible Hope Kitchen. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, surfing, and playing music.
